Cosmetics of reissue 1974x always been the same?
When the 1974x was reissued were the cosmetics the same as it is now? Did the first run look more authentic? Thank you- bluesroom

Marshal 18 watt 2/10 speaker recommendation
I have a blockhead 2x10 --- baby blues breaker knockoff. Right now I have a 10" weber baby blue pup alnico and a silver alnico. The speakers sound a bit tin can-ish. 1) do I go with 2 alnicos, 2 ceramic, or 1 of each. 2) do I keep the weber silver, and combine it with something else, or go...- bluesroom

1963 jtm head??
Someone I know said their favorite marshall is a 1963 JTM. I've heard of a JTM 45 but what is the uniqueness of a 1963 JTM in respect to ckt or design? Does the 1963 signify tube designation for that year or wattage 45 or 50 ?- bluesroom

which speaker configuration for 18 watt combo
Ok. I have an 18 watt clone with the 2 x 10 configuration and it sounds fantastic. I was wondering what if anybody here hd the experience of playing one with the larger style cabinet with 2 x 12'S ?
