    OK I have done it , the other guirtarist in my bands thinks Im nut's swapping an orange cab unloaded for a VM cab unloaded but .. I will save on chiropracdtor bills in the long run .. :D Initial impressions from the V30's that came out of the orange cab and put in the VM< b cab ... alot more...

    Thanx guys for the replies , The Orange cabs are around the 50kg or 115pounds v the Marshall Cabs that are around 36kg or 70 to 80 pounds .. The orange cabs have thier handles lower to the ground than the marshall which means that you have to get down lower to just even pick them up over a crack...

    Hi I have noticed that when I turn my amp on that one of the EL34's takes longer to light up.. Its 100 watt and its the tube closest to the preamp tubes.. Is this a biasing issue? Amp still sounds good.. could this be a problem for the transformer if it keeps doing it? any advice would...

    Hi Jcm , whats the best way to mic a cab with this combo? I have a cab with V30's and 75's but if I know Im being miced I take my greenback cab... It farts out and sounds shit sometimes thru the PA .. my mixed cab sounds insane in the same room but I havent figured out the best way to mic up...

    I got hold of some Vintage 30's to run in an X pattern with some 50w lorantz greenback clones in my 1960ax box but got them home to realise the y are 8 Ohm and the lorantz's are 16 ohm... Is there a way towire it so it can still run, and the whole box will run on 16 ohm's?
