Hello All, Many thanks to you for your comments and guidance. In view of some of the issues pointed out above, I think I may go straight to the source and book them in for servicing with the factory. Its a bit of a drive to Milton Keynes from here but the journey should be worth it.- T1000

2203 volume issue
If the MV of the louder one is at 2 (plenty of volume for a medium sized room) the quieter one has to be between 4 and 5 to match it. Also, I'm assuming here that as we are comparing like for like (ie two units of the same rating and power) that we can use the MV levels as labelled as a measure...- T1000

I did, of course mean 2203. Typo. Now corrected. I will check the input jack resistors and B+ as you suggest. Thank you for the guidance.
