    How much tone comes from the power tubes in a DSL40C?

    Question: Do Power Tubes Always Glow? What If One Does Not?

    My DSL40C in Pentode/Full Power mode sounds bigger and different compared to Triode mode but there seems to be NO glowing in the second power tube. They are the stock EL34's in my 2014 amp. There are no indications of a bad tube otherwise. Thanks!
