Had my SV20H for about 5 years now, Absolutely love it! I haven’t messed around with it at all until this month when I suddenly had a bee in my bonnet to start tinkering…..
This last year I have been gassing to get a 50w plexi kit to build, have been looking at the Ceriatone all Access...
Hi all,
I’m new to the forum. I have just joined after reading The Official Marshall SV20H Thread. Lots of interesting info and overall nice and polite communication among forum mates 🙂
Here is my request:
I´m considering to buy a SV20H. I already have a ´69 100w superlead and a ´72 50w 1987...
Bass spec 1986 vs the lead 1987. I play mostly Hendrix AC/DC zeppelin. I occasionally need the amp to do Van Halen. Does the club 40 have enough gain on tap for zeppelin AC/DC and VH? Am I better off using a lead spec and bridging the channels for less bright clean tones?
So I play primarily the bluesier tunes of Hendrix and Trower. Using an Amp that has a creamy breakup, can generate tone from fretboard vibrato, and is sensitive to guitar volume control is important when playin those guys. Ive been looking for an affordable Marshall -sounding tube low watt head...
Hmm...

What's going on everyone!
I'm in the market for a Marshall combo tube amp that would give me a tone similar to that John Frusciante/Hendrix "clean" tone or even just a really good clean tone in general. I have a strat and have always used solid states but I'm looking to make the jump to a tube...
Okay so I used to be a traditionalist, swore by real amps with real tubes. Then I realised that the only time I was properly using them was when I was cranking them (like 4 times a year). I don't play massive gigs and my JCM800 sits in the corner of my room most of the time silenced because of...
Hi everyone,
I recently purchased Amplitube 4 (amplifier simulation software) and can say that i'm actually very impressed with it. I've been searching for a good hendrix tone which could be easy to achieve without having all the vintage gear for quite a while now. I did a note for note cover...
