1982 4x12 1960A - Center Post Question ...

Ive never had the center post installed in my cab since I've owned it , I've always thought it sounded pretty good to my old ears the way it is ...
Whats everyones thoughts ??
Should i install the center post back in it , i still have it ??
Does it help in cab tone ?

You should get more bass output with the post left out. Bass will tighten up with the post in place.

& if in make sure its secured well otherwise you can get rattles
