Hi all! I recently picked up a used Marshall 1960a cabinet loaded with the original Celestion G12T-75 speakers. I have a 1961a cab with Celestion Classic Lead 80's. My plan with the 1960a was to load it with the greenbacks.

I got a used set of Greenbacks from a person in Northern New Brunswick and just got a pair of brand new ones. The used ones have date code15HQ (Aug 15 2005) and the new ones are minty fresh with AJ28 Jan 28 2023).

I loaded the new speakers on the right side (left in the picture) and 2005's on the left. This will allow me to isolate the new ones to work at breaking them in. I have played through each side a bit. So far so good!

Maybe try the T75's on the bottom, and greenbacks on top. I recently did, and am pretty happy with it.
