8412 4x12 cab speaker help

I've recently scored a very clean 8100 with a matching 8412 cabinet. The speakers are Celestion g12l-35 and so far I don't hate them... they remind me of a greenback.

I want to swap the bottom 2 speakers for something else, anyone here know a good match for these g12l speakers? g12t-75 maybe? I don't want v30s because they will most likely overpower the stock ones. The g12l's are only like 96db

I had that cab too. I liked those speakers particularly for their recorded tone when close-miced .

I mainly used it as an extension cab under my combo, which had a V30. On its own, I found the 8412 to be a bit 'mellow' in the room, wanting more edge. But with the V30 above doing that, and the 8412 filling in the mids and lows, it was a great mix.

To swap-out a couple of the g12L-35's I'd be thinking of Greenbacks, or maybe Creambacks (not sure which version), or maybe something similar from WGS.
