Comparing a 93 JCM 900 DR/el34's to 2000 JCM 2000 DSL 50 for past 3 weeks.

Bought the 900 to A/B against my JCM 2000. Was hoping to replace the 2000 but after 3 weeks, conclusion:
JCM 2000 just has..More!

What can you say? The J2K DSLs are great amps! I can still remember the first time I plugged into one, how impressed I was. Not that there’s anything wrong with the 900DR. I just wouldn’t necessarily expect the DR to outdo the DSL.

When you hear what you want from an amp..
It’s hard to change what is expected from another one, they both do an excellent job of doing what is expected of them..

Glad you got the chance to hear them in all their glory.
