Probably been asked a million times already...
Where can I go to determine the year of manufacture based on the serial number?
I have an old JCM800 era Marshall Fifty Split Channel Reverb combo, model 5212. No indication of year of manufacture anywhere inside the chassis. Seral number is T04102.
Thanks.

'T' could mean 1985...

There also should be an inspection sticker inside the chassis somewhere that might have the date on it.

Thanks wakjob. From the limited information that I was able to find, the T in the beginning of the serial number indicates a 50 watt model. There is an inspection sticker on the inside, but unfortunately, no date.
