I have been wanting one of Paul’s guitars for a while!! We did a trade deal today and I came home with one!!

Paul built this guitar from blocks of wood!!! By hand!!

Paul Yeahman, from Plainwell, builds guitars…repairs guitars…paints guitars….basically everything!!!

Paul is a super nice guy too. I met him through Pete Moreno years ago.

This guitar is a solid mahogany, carved top single cut Les Paul style. Indian rosewood board with traps. Medium jumbo frets. Fat 50s neck. Seymour Duncan Antiquity p90s. Zoso caps.

This baby has OUTSTANDING TONE!!! The fretwork is amazing!!!

Needs some more yellowing/aging to the plastics for my tastes, but very nice looking build. I like the simple, almost humble plaintop. As attractive as the figure is on all Gibson’s bookended flame bursts, they start to become almost mundane. This looks like an old hammer in the toolshed, yet it pops a little. What is the neck profile?

Wow! Happy NGD! Love that tobacco-colored plain top. Looks like a real rawk machine!
