I've got a Marshall 2205 1989 and the preamp tube farthest left seems like it has a short. when I barely touch it the amp crackles and has a lot of noise. when I hit the amp, sometimes it goes away. Its not the tubes because I swapped them and I still have a short in the farthest left preamp tube.
Is there a good amp tech near oklahoma city?

Sounds like it may be as simple as a dirty tube socket. Turn off the amp, drain the caps (if you know how), spray the sockets with a good contact cleaner and install-remove the tubes 3 to 4 times.
