JCM 800 ,JCM 900, SL-X ,AMP MODIFICATION

THIS ALL SOUNDS PRETTY GOOD ,i can get a cab link .
i can try out the 25 watt mode see how that go's .
wondering if the diode clipping is going to get along with my mxr 6 band graphic eq ,and a mxr phase 90 and a cry baby wah . should sound great with my speakers ,jbl d120f's , evh speaker , greenback reissue , g12t-75's , marshall vintage ,and avt speakers .

I leave the diode clipping in the boost channel and I take out the diodes in the clean channel.
The clean channel won't be really clean until you take the diodes out.

The effects loop doesn't really match USA effects pedals, so I change the levels in the loop.

EQ might work better in the loop instead of the front end.
But if you take the diodes out, then the EQ works OK in the front end.

The only mod to a 900...seriously...is gutting it and starting over with the design you desire.

You can subtly tweak some things, but no OMG mods exist with out total reconstruction.

Been there, done that.
