Hello...
anyone knows the quality of the sound at the JTM30 DI out..?
I want to practice with an EMU 0404 soundcard...
I tried an Hughes&Kettner Tubeman and a Zenamp
the Zenamp had DI out, but both was not the optimum
the best tone and feeling I get with an Tonelab LE and the digital output
so how the JTM30 sounds??
thank you...

TSL100 has emulated line out, virtual power reduction and a mute from the front panel.

I just tried this out for you... forget it!
I love my JTM30, but the DI signal is poor
(at least for headphone use).
I wanted to record a soundfile for you,
but it's really not worth it.

the jtm is not thaaat loud,
and turned up it sounds really good.
In case you (or your wife) really insist on
headphones I'd stick with the Tonelab
(I own the SEversion myself).

The sweetest sound bar none I ever got out of any Marshall was a JTM30 running flat out through a PB100. A thing of beauty!

Have a look at my thread demonstrating the JMP-1. For direct recording they are hard to beat.
You can usually find bargains on ebay.
