So I got my MojoTone 800 up and running and sounding pretty dam good, so why mess with it?...... Well why not?
I decided to add the #36 Mod, since I'm a huge Slash fan. I did tons of research and decided to follow the Headfirst video. I incorporated the #36 circuit to the Mojotone circuit. Then drew up what the sister board would look like. I included a DTDP switch to go from normal to #36.
After all was said and done. I'm noticing the #36 position is kinda tame compared to the original circuit. Want to see if you guys had any input. I'm wondering if i should be using pins 6, 7, 8 rather than 1, 2, 3? I'm attaching a couple of pics....

Is this mod schematic known to be function? Switching will loose "grid leak" resistance and there might come loud noise which stress loudspeaker and audience. V2A and additional Triode? Does your make noise?

Does Footswitch drive a Relay or does the signal go between FS and Amp? If signal visit FS the cable might attenuate High Frequencys?

It does not matter which Triode is used when they are same type!

I have not seen a schematic for #36 or whatever but you've got two cold biased stages back to back. That's why it sounds weak. On the additional stage change that 10K cathode resistor for a 0.68uF cap paralleled with a 2.7K resistor. It will come back to life.
