My first clone and didn’t know where to post, so I’ll start here.

I’m no tech, but it looks pretty good to me, and too nice to pass up.

Looks like high-end parts were used.

At home and I plugged the JTM into my Greenback 4x12 and into my empty Astoria cab with a Creamback.

The amp is very loud and sounds great into either cab. I think that a JTM with KT66’s is my favorite Marshall tone.

My plan is to use the JTM with my 2x12 combo cab with ‘70s Blackbacks (currently housing my Astoria Classic chassis) as a head and cab for now.

I’ll put the Astoria back into its original cab.

Maybe down the road, l’ll mount the JTM into the combo cab.

I understand from experienced JTM45 owners that they really love the contemporary Celestion speakers with this amp. Sometimes the 8 Ohm version Celestion T1220, with Pulsonic cone, are for sales at reasonable price. Might be suitable for 2x12, although powerhandling can be on the limit.

15 Ohm T1221 (for 4x12 use) seems to be more expensive.
