Could pick one up uneder 1K sould I ?

There seem to be two distinct camps for these amps. Some love them, and some don't. I had a 1x12 version of this twin channel amp and found it wasn't for me. I didn't like the character of the overdriven sound. I'm a JMP 2203/4 man which might explain something! In the Uk they are worth about £650-750. Hope that helps in some way.

Its all valves, mate. There might be some diodes somewhere to give more gain.

They are going for about that price on Reverb (+/- $100 or so).
Not great, not bad price, depending on condition/mods I suppose.
