Nice, my favorite Celestions...

I can't really see the codes, but they are T2876's with Celestion labels? I've only seen Marshall labeled Celestions with T2876's on them?

Better pics? And they should have a 444 cone, correct?

Wow, throwing a monkey wrench into my T numbers...

All the T2876's I've seen have 444 bass cones and Marshall Labels, until now thanks!

I hate to ask, but can you make sure there's not a black 444 on the other cones, sometimes it's very faint or possibly hidden.

I have a quad of T3103 G12-80's and they do not have any cone codes...

I caught that too; you beat me to it. I've never seen a 1982 with the round sticker and silver Celestion backed speakers. They all have the Marshall logo backs. Plus the sticker reads 15 ohms, not 16, so this is very unusual. What's the date code? 1981 maybe? Late 1980?

GM23 = 23 day of July 1979

That's a surprise because of the speaker backs. I assume they're original but it's surprising to have the silver Celestion backed speakers in the transition from G12H-30's to G12H-80's. I've only seen them on the later cabs when the round sicker was replaced with the rectangular 320 (and later 400) watt tag, and I would have thought this was one of the last round sticker 1982's, not one of the first.

When I get a chance I will investigate each speaker. Without removing them I could only find one stamped. And it was very hard to read! Is there a way to tell what cones they are if they are not stamped? What I have been reading here on things to look for is the cork gasket on the front...anything else?

Thanks all!
