Hi :)

Marshall power brake has an issue in need of a fix.

Turning the dial up from position one all is well until position 7 . There is no sound at all at position 7 but all other positions are good.

What can I do to fix this please ?

Thank you :)

Sounds like a mechanical fault in the control itself. Care to open it up and examine/provide some pics? The shaft of the knob goes 'through' two circuit boards in the front where some damage might be apparent....

Nobody's forcing you to do anything you're not comfortable with, but it's impossible to diagnose without some insight... Just make sure you make a note of how it came apart (what screws go where in which order) and don't use force. It should come apart nice and easy. Take pictures while you do it for your own reference. Consider a 'layout sheet' where you draw the device and place the screws and stuff in the applicable places so you know where they belong afterwards. This is overkill for most people when dealing with something like the Power Brake, but if you're new to this by all means take it slow. No shame in doing things carefully, certainly when starting out! :thumb:
