Super Lead Gut Shots

Check out this 1979 Super Lead I found, the board is blue, is that normal? Take a look at the rest of the internals and let me know if they look ok. Thanks

Some boards were blue usually after 78.
Its got a master volume.
Someone did a 1/2 ass job of replacing the bias caps without flipping the board.
I know its a pain to pull all the pots & flip it but thats what separates the men from the boys plus the traces on these boards are super easy to over-heat an F-up.

It has a type of 1ww mod and part converted to master volume (see the 470k/68k link and normal channel converted to MV pot, the rest is basic NMV board with those mods.

Yes the channels are cascaded and has a ppimv.

How do people generally feel about the blue board? I think it looks awesome. I have never seen one like that.

The blue boards give me "the blues" but thats better than "blue balls".

I've never seen or even heard of blue boards, doesn't matter anyway it sold real quick, nice looking amp too.

U need some resistors on your ppimv or u can get in really mess up the amp
