Looking at some speakers with marks on the frame T1221 513BB with cones 102 003. I dont see any other marks on them or the gasket. There is just a Marshall Decal on the green back covers.
What year are these?

The Marshall decals cover up the original decal and calling them out as 25 watt speakers. Not sure about the codes and the 5 might be an S. Anyway another deco set which is a bummer

Date date code corresponds to 13th Feb 1969, the 5 is an 'S'. 102 003 is the cone code for a Pulsonic lead (75htz) cone. T1221 are G12M-25 Greenbacks. Well worth buying if they are in good working order with no coil rub. What price is being asked?

What are a deco set?
The length of the cone code makes them pre 71
Code is most likely 13BB which I would interpret as 13th Feb 69?

So Im going to be in sellers area tomorrow. What are your thoughts on these for 1200? I will try to make a deal but not sure value.
How to check for coil rub? Just lightly push down to move voice coil and listen???

Here's how to test vintage speakers: https://www.bygonetones.com/how-to-test-a-vintage-celestion-greenback-speaker.html

One repair and one recone. You could say that you would pay 600 each for two good speakers, and get the other two in the deal.

I currently see USD 600/speaker as asking price for pre-rolas (made '66-68), but they sit still.
