Hello, first post and looking for advice.
We have a range of amps at our studio for bands that don't have a good backline. We have a Fender deluxe reverb, Bad Cat Cub, Vox AC30 and Mesa Dual Rectifier. From these we can get a pretty broad range of tone but still there's something missing.
I'd like to add an old Marshall to complete the line-up. I was wondering if I could get some advice from guys that do a lot of studio gig and think of which amp would be the most versatile (and the best value) for studio use.
From limited experience I think we could use a JCM800 2203 or 2204 and probably a JMP 1959 early 70s, but I'm looking forward to have more opinions.
