Cost a fair amount in comparrison to the EHX and JJ'S too!
If this is true it may save me the best part of 90 quid

yeah... as far as i know the top-shelf series all use winged C EL34's in the poweramp
the VM and the 2203KK use shuguangs (KT66's and KT88's) the AFD100 has winged C's too (6550's)
i'm not sure about the haze series and the MA-series, though
