Some of you may recall my initial thread from a few months ago about this.
This Thursday my dear wife goes in for resection of most of her benign meningioma. It is located inside the cavernous sinus and is comptessing the brain stem. It will be a complex but computerized procedure by some of yhe best people who could ever do this.

They will SAFELY remove as much as they can for future irradiation which will prevent further growth. 3 hours setup, approximately 6 - 12 hrs if surgery. It will be a loooong day for me but finished with that day.

They will go in through her right ear as it is the most direct route rendering her deaf in that ear. We are glad it is benign and was found when it was but it is still very scary and stressful. Don't know what to expect for recovery but we will do well!!

Cheers all

Sending prayers to you and your wife brother - we'll be watching the screen to hear the good word that all was a success, and that your wife is resting and doing well.

Good thoughts to you and yours. My wife has been in hospital for a couple of weeks now. I've grown accustomed to sleeping in chairs and eating from vending machines.

Didn't know she was in the hospital? Nothing too serious I hope?
