    I made a DIY Master Volume controller which I run in the loop between the preamp and the return of the DSL40C. It perfectly works.

    I finally used a Rocktron Piranha preamp (OUT of the Piranha plugged in the Return of the DSL40C), and use the Marshall only as power amp.

    The DSL40C is way to bright. I replaced the original speaker by a Celestion Vintage 30. The sound is better, but the preamp is the problem.
