I noticed the price at Sweetwater on an Origin 20H dropped to $429, there is one for sale near me for $350 used but advertised as in great condition. I am not very experienced with amp prices and how to really tell if something is in perfect working condition. Is $350 a reasonable used price...
Well I’ll have to check that out because, I just moved the gear back to the basement and hooked up my computer and interface to jam to backing tracks. It was working fine in the living room.
My amp started to make a steady running clicking noise when cranked. Both cabs and different cords. It did go away once and it is quieter on the Green. Any ideas?
I have a DSL1 with the mx 112 cab and I have been thinking about different options for sound. I don't know if i am being stupid but I like the set up just looking for a "biiger" or "fuller" soune, not even sure if that is possible with the 1 amp. But anyway I have seen posts that mention a one...
Thats a fair question. I bought it in 2020 and I still have it and it is in my living room. After playing again for a couple of years I would like to just get a bigger sound. Funny (not funny) I got the head and speaker at Sweetwater for under $450 and now they are like $800 wow things have got...
I have the DSL 1 and the MX112 cab. I like it but I live out in the country and want to play louder and fuller. At this time I do not plan on gigging. I play 80’s rock and metal. I would like to get used and spend less than $1500 what are your thoughts? Thanks.
Based on the comment above " Any model matched with a period correct Celestion gives the tone" what would be considered the period correct Celestion for a DSL 1. More specific what would be the best replacement for the seventy 80 for hard rock or metal in the MX 1 12 cab?
Well I'll chime in here, I posted a while back on Halloween to be exact as a forum newbie asking opinions on the DSL1 bundle with the MX 1x12 speaker fro Sweetwater. I got more suggestions from folks to get a used SC20 and 2x12 or 4x12 cab then I did on the DSL1, so I looked for used ones and...
I've done some searching on here and have not found a great answer to the question; what are the thoughts on this cab? the Origin 4X12 A. I lost out on a deal on a 1960 cab and the only one near me now they want $500 for and it is not in that great of condition. I can get a used origin for $370...
Since your not charged VAT under $1500 I can get the head and 4 Vintage speakers for $1138 +66 bucks shipping so that is less than just the head here in the states. But oh well I have located a used head for under $900 and I am still debating on the cab.
What are your thoughts on the Marshall SC212 Studio Classic 140-watt 2x12" Vertical Extension Cabinet? Also it specs out at 8 ohms so would I be able to hook my AC10 up to it? the output on that says 16 ohm.
