Did I kill it?
Ok still trouble shooting a Marshall DSL 50. Got new tubes, powered on and no sound at all. Turned off and the speaker wire had came unclamped in the cab. :/ The amp shoulda fried the Output Transformer but now instead of being nice and loud its acting like its half power. Could this possibly...- jaek

Marshall Dual Super Lead 50 problems
So i got my first Marshall a week ago. Not my first tube amp so i do know a little. Anyways I took it to band practice, turned it 3/4 the way up and played. After awhile the volume starts to spike at volumes past 1/2 and sounds really bad. That ends this day Next day, replace the preamp tube...- jaek

Tube options for DSL 50
I'm lookin for some tubes for my new Marshall. It currently has JJ E34Ls in it. I'm wondering what are my options for tube changes, I know how to bias and change em and all btw. Would 6550s work? or 5881s? I know el34s and KT77s will but what about KT 66s and KT 88s? Looking for good high...- jaek

Eh, my band practices til 11 usually, when the dickhead neighbors call the cops, but usually we turn it down 1 level and continue til the cops come again, repeat as necessary.- jaek

Bugera amps
When I had monies I was thinking of getting the Bugera 1960, its basically a cheap Plexi style 150 watt head.
