    Why bother with any post 1983 Marhsllas ? they all are inferior IMHO.

    I OBVIOUSLY prefer the sixties Marshalls (I have a '68 and '69 supers) but jeesh, have an open mind! With the right tweaking and tone shaping, VIRTUALLY EVERY MARSHALL can sound good, even great!

    Tube Question.

    I wouldn't at all be surprised if those "original:" Marshall tubes from the early 90's are actually Tesla tubes (Not JJ) Marshall had them bradned Marshall when put in its amps, up until around '93 I believe. GREAT TUBES! I am using them in all my heads right now, work great sound great.
