I need to get a multimeter then I'm going too check the bias on it. I have the stock EL34's from the DSL and they are still good, I might throw them in to see if they help.
I picked up a used TSL60 last weekend on kind of a steal. Traded a Jet City JCA50 and some pedals I never used for it. After I got it home I played around with the TSL for a while and was enjoying the sound with the stock tubes. I then proceeded to replace the stock pre-amp tubes with Preferred...
I went with preferred series 7025's in V1-V3 from the tubestore.com. and a Sovtek 12ax7lps for the phase inverter V4 slot. I really like the amp and how it sounds but am having issues getting a delay pedal to work really well with it. After some tweaking I got it somewhat acceptable but nothing...
I just picked up a TSL60 and really like it. I got a steal on it and was originally going to flip it but think I'll keep it now. I did replace all the preamp tubes and am looking at new power tubes too. Sounds even better with the new preamp tubes.
BBE sonic stomp sonic maximizer. Excellent shape, works great, no issues, includes power chord. I'm the original owner. $55.00 (OBO) shipped continental US, PayPal gift preferred) for payment. I have 100% feedback on eBay under batman71 music and some good feedback as a seller on the...
This is an Epiphone 50th Ann. 1960 Les Paul V3 in heritage cherry sunburst that I purchased from Musiciansfriend.com. The guitar is in great shape and plays great. I changed the wiring to 550k CTS pots, PIO caps (.022 bridge. .015 neck) and added a Switchcraft jack. It already had the...
These are 4 matched and balanced Shuguang 12AX7-A tubes that I just purchased. They were used for only an hour at the most in my Marshall DSL40C so they are still basically brand new. Purchased from thetubestore.com for $9.95 plus $5.00 for the balancing and matching for a total of 14.95 each. I...
I just use standard tuning. I may once in a great while do drop D but that is all. I usually keep my settings with the treble at 6, mid around 4 or 5, and bass around 6 or 7.
I have to say I truly appreciate the research you have done on this. Thank you very much! With that said i think I will try that man o war in another amp if I can borrow one from a friend to see what happens with it. Really need to see if the speaker is bad or not now. Again, thanks for the...
I seem to always go back to a Duncan JB in the bridge for some reason. Although right now I do have a Dimarzio Tone Zone in the bridge in one of my Traditionals and I am really enjoying it. For the neck I am really liking the Dimarzio 36th anniversary paff, that thing just sounds awesome.
I threw the original Celestian speaker back in after trying to tweak the settings to keep the man o war from flubbing out with no success. The original handles the higher volumes better with the amp for some reason without the bass flubbing out. Although I really liked the sound of the man o...

Thanks for the response guys it is appreciated. I will do some experimenting with it next time I go jam and may also throw the second manowar I have in it to see if the second one does the same thing. I'm also going to adjust the pickup pole pieces and hieght on the bass side to see if that...
