I have this JCM2000, and on the back it says "100 watts" but on the front plate under the input it says "DSL50".
Could someone help me out here? Is it 50 or 100 watts?
Thanks and advance.
Thank you for the video, but I am not sure exactly why he is doing what he is doing. I have a multimeter.. Could someone explain what I need to do, or point me towards a web link that could explain things a little more clearly...?
New to the forum, so my apologies if this has been asked a million times, or if there is already a thread covering this, but is there any instructional youtube vids or sites dedicated to re-tubing / biasing tubes for a JCM 2000 DSL100?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
Thanks for all of the replies.
After watching some YouTube videos I decided to go with the JCM2000. I found a guy who wants to trade the Triple Rec for a (made in England) JCM2000 + 1960 4X12 cab, so I think that's a great deal on my end.

Thanks for the replies. I am honestly leaning towards the JCM2000 DSL.
My main 'sounds' are kinda 90's and grungy, so there's that.

Really just curious as to which is a 'better' amp. I mean, I am sure they are both great, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something obvious!

Hey y'all!
I posted a little while back about finding the 'right' JCM900, and your replies got me to thinking...
I have a Mesa Triple Rectifier listed "For Trade" on Craigslist, and I have two potential trades ahead of me, for either a JVM410H or a JCM2000 Dual Super Lead. Both 100 watts...
Thank you all for the responses.
Just to clear things up... The only reason I bought the Trip Rec is because I got a killer deal on it with the Orange 4x12 cab that I simply couldn't pass up.
The only reason I am wanting to get rid of it is that I don't feel that I utilize all of the knobs and...
Hello there,
This is my first post so I am sorry if it is redundant or in the wrong area.
I own a Mesa Triple Rectifier 50/150w head, but I am not happy with it. Seems that I just can't dial in a good sound that isn't super 'nu-metal' sounding. Long story short, I have a buddy who is...
