Cause the g has a natural tendency to be slightly sharp... Like when playing an open E normally then after a slightly flat g it just sounds better... I thought it was crazy too but, my ears don't lie lol.. http://www.mylespaul.com/forums/showthread.php?t=252385
So how many others tune their g slightly flat... Been for a few weeks now and honestly, wow what a difference.. Also what are ppl thoughts of the Buzz Feiten tuning system... My Washburn has that, need a BF equipped tuner tho.
This has never happened to me but when I get my strat all set up and intonated the saddles are like straight and not the usual up down down, up down down pattern. My pu height, action, relief is all good. New strings too.. Anyone ever have this happen? It sounds great all over the fret board and...
