Buyer received the amp which worked flawlessly but has no sound. One of the KT66 tubes had no guiding pin. Wondering if misaligning the pins might have possibly killed the output transformer?
All tubes light up but no sound. Is a defective fuse a possibility?
Thanks for any help.
PRICE REDUCTION to $3700! :applause:
An interested party on eBay might end up with it but would rather shave a few hundred here and give a member here a break in the price than give it to eBay. :)
I didn't have time to experiment with mic placement so the recording I made though good, isn't up...
Here's an absolutely unique piece. For sale is my beloved 1963 Marshall JTM45 replica, featuring tons of period-correct parts, an unbelievably rare Vynair cloth for the front, and all ANOS (Almost NOS) tubes like the GEC KT66 that gives it that special magic.

Here we have a very special Cognac Burst R0 (or 1960 Reissue). 1 of only 3 in existence! The attention to detail is above any Historic I've ever seen, owned, or played. The touch is phenomenal and I can honestly say this is as close to "it plays itself" as it's ever been true. Really pains me to...
Up for sale is a pair of OX4 pickups with aged covers. These were made before the owner started making different models, so I believe these have Alnico 4 magnets.

Up for sale is a B.K. Butler Tube Driver pedal which is what Eric Johnson uses to get his sound. It's the 4-knob version without the Bias knob. It has had its "Out Level" pot changed as the original one had stopped working. It now works flawlessly, good as new. These sell for $436, new.

While I appreciate this being brought up, the difference is so microscopically minute that I'm OK with leaving it as-is. I'll keep that in mind for my next build, though. ;)
Up for sale is my 2010 Gibson Custom G0 Historic Les Paul, which is the Guitar Center limited edition version of the R0 (it's stamped R0 in the control cavity). I've got my eye on an amp, so no trade proposals, please.
Just came back from my guitar tech. It's set up and ready to be played.
