    Thanks for your responses Resistance fully anti clockwise is : 78.6k OHMS Fully clockwise it is: 55.5k OHMS Does this mean anything? Guess it makes sense as the pot is 25k OHMS

    Thanks here are the restults Resistance 1- 222k (Upper left) 2- 14.4k (bottom) 3-55.6k (right) all of which marry up to the wiriing diagram Here are the voltages: 1. 353.3V 2. 257V 3. -169 V 4. -163 V

    sure thing thanks for your help get some rest The minimum was around -157v wound out and wound in it was -164v. It wasn’t a huge range

    okay got 43 - 44 OHMs across between pin 3 to the choke on each socket. Ill clean with a cotton bud around the turrents too

    thanks for your continued help and patience Also noticed I never need to discharge this cap Great I’ll try that. Could you point me how to measure that reading? Not entirely sure what the centre tap is. Sorry still a complete noob

    sure thing thank you! Okay pin 5 and maximum negative voltage done Put in tubes Not clear but they glowed up great Then I put a clip on the corner of pin 8 And … still nothing

    Sorry I should have clarified. that was without tubes. Shall I try with tubes? I can garantuee ill have the same result Yup definately grounded on pin 1

    Fuse back in and it’s good. I got HT voltage This is without tubes And clipped on the 1ohm resistor Again that’s nothing and that’s with the standby OFF so now really scratching my head. The tubes glow up and warm up fine too Anyone got any ideas?

    haha your right I should keep going. So I get no DC reading at all I get AC voltage reading oddly enough. Around 25v Any clue? Thanks

    Great shall I wire it straight to the chassis ground lug or ground on the speaker jack by the bottom right corner of the resistor
