AFD100 - Lost all gain only clean sound
Hello, I’ve recently got an AFD100 for a great price, it was basically sitting in its box for a long time, so it’s still got the original Marshall tubes in it. Today, I had some free time and decided to crank it, it was glorious for like 10 minutes, and then it just suddenly cleaned up...- Dude456

JCM800 2204 has very little preamp gain/distortion(?)
It has very little gain even with the preamp knob on 10 and the master at about 7. Even running a TS9 with its vol max and gain at zero into the amp doesn't get me anywhere close to the gain it used to have. It's still loud as hell, just no gain. I don't think it's the EL34s, and the pots are...- James Ford
