How original is this Marshall major?

Could anyone tell me how original this Major still is? i've also seen some other majors which have a second set of plugins on the left side of the switch on the back. what would those have functioned for? I've noticed that they're missing on this model.

    Searching for a Marshall Major

Hello guys, For nearly two years now I’m desperately searching for a Marshall Major 1978, the one with the polarity switch. I'm pretty much at the end of my rope as I just don’t know what more I could do than for example getting notifications when someone sells one on reverb.com. If there’s...

    Marshall MAJOR 200 REPLICA Project

I´m a german student trying to correct the schematic of the legendary Marshall Major 200. If everything works as planned, I will build a replica of this amp and make the information available for you to build one for your own. I´d be very thankfull if you can help me out. Cheers Jannik:cheers:

    Nutube Mini Major

Hey everyone, So I've been checking these nutubes out and I had the idea to use them to make a really compact mini major. I've always wanted a major but couldnt afford a legit one, not to mention it's way too powerful. Do you think this is possible? Also if anyone knows where to find a schematic...

Free Bird Solo - Marshall Major - Amplitube 4

Over the past few weeks I've been playing around with various different amps in Amplitube 4 and found the Marshall Major simulation ("Red Pig") to stand head and shoulders above the rest. Why is it that some of these simulations can sound crap and some can sound so good!? Anyway, I did a cover...
