Back when I was in my thrash band in my early 20's I could have easily done this challenge. We played fast all the time and much like Metallica, it was mostly down picked stuff.

I remember when we'd kick into our first song live and it would be so fast that you'd feel that lactic acid build up in your arm and it would burn like hell. You'd just have to play through until your arm quit burning. It was always kind of an adrenaline rush lol.


I haven't played thrash in years though, so I doubt I could do this nowa days!
