After a long time wanting one, im finally building me a JTM45. Im cutting the chassis and drilling all the holes myself since i had very good results doing that in a previous build.

And here is a test fit of the front panel. Like a hand in a velvet glove

Im gonna use both PT and OT from Modulus, and i bought an original Drake choke 1471-263 from a repair guy

Will follow!

I see that also you use high quality tools and supplies. One of my main suppliers.

BY100 will be fine.
Thank you Neil, i saw earlier this year you made a 1966 clone. I see that you fit an 8.2K dropping resistor and 5.6K grid stoppers. The Marstran schematic shows 10K dropping resistor and no grid stoppers.... im gonna use these KT66 with it. What do you think? Thanks in advance!

What type of drill bit do you use? I often get chipping.
Bosch, 2.5mm! I start very slow and increase speed at the end. I deburr the holes with a 8mm drill bit, and i do it by hand. Just a gentle couple turns. Afterwards i enlarge the holes a bit so the turret fits snug with some good pressure....
