EL34s? Is it me or does the logo look authentic? The patina is there from what I can tell. Nice that the RS caps are included. Not sure about the price...as always..

Repop logo and the rear panel has been drilled out. Big $$ for a marketed fine example.
obvious issues. I have a really accurate repro logo on my 68 smallbox. It's about 25 years old and the patina is nowhere near what that one has. If it was aged someone did a stellar job. $10-12K seems more like it. Interested to see what Neil and Tazin think.

I'm just observing that one with an open but skeptical mind. Not worried at all about any box issues, it's the chassis that is important and I don't see anything obviously off....nor do I expect that I necessarily would. It looks to me like a clean example that has been given the service you'd want done if you intend to continue to play it regularly for years to come. The workmanship is neat and professional.

I think the asking price is optimistic.

That is a really rare version that I have never heard a real one.
It has the 3 inch power transformer and el34s. Probably the el34 1202-119 output transformer(but I can not see it very well). It would Probably be hard to get a el34 quad will survive the voltage . That thing would be a very loud high voltage amp. Cool thanks posting this . Has the 8 filter caps on the board instead of 7 .

I had a Mitch Colby park pmc 100 which had Merren transformers in it like this but slight tweaks to make easier on the screens and slightly higher negative feedback resistor (47k) . I loved that amp and it had a great sound . Would love to hear one of these versions

Noted that one of the pictures had a tag on the amp handle saying, “use with variac”. Interesting.

That spec 45/100 should normally be KT66 but you can use EL34s, the transformer secondary wires are yellow for 8, green for 16 and a 100v which fits for a 1202-84 (4k OT).
Looks like every solder joint on the board has been retouched. I think V 6 socket has been replaced (but again maybe joints retouched).
Both switches have been replaced, electrolytics of course.
All input jack sockets have been replaced and I'm pretty sure x4 pots have been replaced (the bus bar was resoldered and the joints).
Drilled hole in the back is a shame.
Overall it is actually an exceptionally nice players 45/100 but I think the price is a bit steep (collector grade) but the vendor might be lucky to find someone with that wants one enough and has that much cash burning a hole in their pocket?
I've recently restored a 66 Super PA for a member here with original OT/PT etc making two channels lead spec and it sounded very very good with new production Marshall branded KT66s which would be a much cheaper players amp.

Wait, the 1202-84 & 1202-119 can have the same secondary wire colors (Orange, Yellow, Green and Blue) but, isn't the primary wires colors different between the two transformers (i.e. 1202-84: Red & Black verse the 1202-119: Red & White)?

Ser# 7215 is definitely 1966. The 1202-119 OT was released 02/67. He will probably be asked for a close up of the OT. Since the amp has clearly been recently serviced one would think that KT 66s would have been used if the OT was a 1202-84.

Yeah I just noticed the serial number seems to be too early for the 1202-119 ot . It probably is the kt66 ones with the 1202-84 ot . I don’t know but just going by the serial numbers.

I know the owner of this amp and however he represents it is legit. He knows em inside and out and one of the most straight up cats on the planet.

Price? It is what it is for an ultra rare early 100w. If he gets it more power to him. Seeing what Dumble’s are fetching these days?
