I have a 1986 Heritage Terminator. This was Heritage's attempt to break into the 80s Hair Metal, pointy guitar market. Historically, these are quite rare. Approximately 20 of these were made....most of them had Kahler tremolos. These were designed by legendary Luthier Marv Lamb.
It is an Explorer-ish design. Set neck. Mahogany body and neck. Rosewood fretboard. 2 Humbuckers, 3 way toggle, master vol/master tone. The bridge pickup is a high output ceramic mag and the neck is a Duncan 59. The hardware has been upgraded to Planet Waves locking tuners and Pinnacle Locking bridge and tailpiece.
This guitar has seen some action! It suffered a headstock break early in its life. The repair is solid. The guitar had several chips, scratches and dents.
The good news is that the frets are in great shape and it plays incredibly well! The neck is a medium C. It weighs in at 8.5 lbs. Don't judge this book by the cover...This guitar has great tone and has great playability!!!
