so I finally took the time over the weekend to install Matthews repop face plate on the 2204. while i was at it, I had purchased the newer turn type ohm selector. I installed as well (got tired of tape holding the old one on. while doing this I took some gut shots because, several things don't look normal to me. the two blue resistors that seem to skip a solder post where the 47K resistor location is? this may be normal but not sure what is supposed to go at location X680? there also seems to be at least one 68K if not two missing where the tannish wire is glued to the other resistor? and last but not least, the big rectangular resistor which I believe is on my presence knob? any of you guys can tell me if these are mods? or are correct or normal?

thanks

So I see a 2204 originally for 6550s. Those resistors are there to get whatever tubes you have now into bias range. Replaced presence cap (usually back to 0.1uF by this stage)
Not very well installed replacement OT.
