JVM. The 6505+ isn't all that versatile, which is the reason I'd never get one as much as I like the gainy tones from them.

well I picked up the 6505+ and the Marshall 1960 lead 4x12 as an investment. I played it and it is a wild amp... Can't play the acoustic through it unless I have my BBE +NR cranked up, the bright and crunch both switched off and it sounds just okay. The electric side is really nice, but I can get those sounds out of a solid state with my zoom g5.
All in all I am happy with the price, time to put it on the selling block and go on my hunt for the JVM I wanted.

Despite already knowing what the masses would vote for (the JVM) I just needed to hear it.

The 6505 is a fun amp but there is not a usable clean channel on the amp. Take that into consideration.
