Very interesting , I figured someone on here would have tried them, although they are fairly new. I'm thinking they would be a great all around speaker. The clips I've heard all sound excellent.

I haven't paired any with V30's but I'm using four Creambacks with my Avatar 45 and it sounds great to me.

I was wondering the same thing. I have a Creamback 65W and I really like it. I've just started trying Classic Lead 80's and they are really good too. I am surprised that no one here has tried the G12H-75 yet???

I imagine I will try a couple someday, they seem like a better 75 watter than the G12T ,but I will be stuck w/ the V30/G12T 4X12 for a throw around cab until then. I found a video that shows the G12H a little more tame than the V30's. 4:22 - 6:22 for the heavy stuff. There's a Greenback in the comparison to.

i heard it's a more powerful version of the greenback. the H magnet rules.

So since April I guess more people has been using these? I wanna try one of these in a 1x12 cab, I am not a Celestion expert but I am worried these already have some mid range that combined with an already midrange pedal like my fulltone plimsould would be, well too much mids o_O, I don't know. I want to play from very clean tone (some Eric Johnson, some jazz, some blues) up to heavy rock without getting too extreme (Megadeth stuff), should I use a different one?

Also I see that picture from SGspecial and I wonder how well are those speakers for open back cabs. Does his cab qualify as open back?

Haven't used these personally but there is a good YouTube video by Pete Thorn.
Evidently he is using these speakers in his CAA 2x12 cabinets that are matched to his newly redesigned CAA PT-100. The video is from the roll out at a Suhr party. Pete sure seemed to like them and they sounded awesome.

That is an open back cab, it is not ported.

I have tried a lot of Celestions, but not the high watt Creambacks.

My strong point is Eminence speakers.

Now that this thread has been revived maybe someone who is using a 75W Creamback will chime in.
