Artiste '73 With Weird Presence "mod"

Hi fellas.
I just scored a nice 1973 ptp Artiste 50 watter.
I openen it to clean the pots and saw that the presence pot is not original to the amp, and that is has a strange "mod".
Could someone help me understand what is going on?

Looks like the correct value/set up to me.

Starting in mid 73' presence pots got the .68uf (thick mid range power amp gain) instead of the earlier .1uf (upper frequencys).

I'm thinking it was just a personal preference the previous owner did.

So, it is obvioulsly not original, right?
Do you mean this presence pot has the .68 or the .1 ? Sorry, but I can't see it by myself.

Yes the pot and cap was replaced with different value components to make this circuit work
