Did some trading for this amp.
Metropoulos MetroAmp Super Lead 1969 Specs.
Based on 1969 Marshall 1959 100 watt Super Lead.
Well done kit build.
Has all the goodies electronically:
- Merren Dagnall PT T2562 and OT C1998 At The Heart Of The Amp w/ Era Accurate SL Spec. Marstran Choke
- Fully-welded 1969 100W Chassis With Gold Zinc Chromate Finish
- Synergy Tone Capacitors - True Mustard Reproduction Caps
- F&T 50+50 Filter Capacitors
- Nichicon Bias Capacitors
- CTS Potentiometers
- UK Made Cliff Jacks Throughout
- Belton Octal And Noval Sockets
- 1W Carbon Film Resistors For Super Low Noise Floor And Exceptional Stability
Was a chassis build.
Ordered a Mojotone British Style Large Box Head Cabinet For the chassis. Great fit.
The amp badge was ordered very reasonably from a Seller in England that sells on Etsy.
It is just taped on for looks at the moment, as I am undecided if I want to use it, a Marshall badge (I know, I know, IF I should sell it later, l will of course disclose it is a Marshall clone), or a Metropoulos or MetroAmp badge.
The badge in the pictures is a play on my name, Mark and a maul (a hammer). Think it turned out pretty cool.
The amp is a keeper! Loud as hell. Sounds beautiful!
