The best thing about these is the emulated line out. Sounds way better than my JVM emulated line out. If your into recording but can not crank and mic a cab, these are the ticket. Best I have ever tried for that purpose. I use it for practice all the time too

Dont forget to try the headphone out...I cant believe how big phones sound with this thing. Mine powers my 1936 2x12 regularly..sounds much bigger than it looks, and can rattle the windows. For well under $200 its a no brainer, even if you just use it for a headphone amp.

OH....MY.....GOD.....This thing is killer.I might have to look into some other Blackstar amps,they really nailed it with this jem.The clean channel sounds a bit like my Marshall.

we take a beating over this HEAD unit on here. I'm glad another has joined
in on the believing side. so many confuse this jewel with those little combos
and they are so missing out lol. Gunner and I just laugh them off.
if we told them there was a little pot of gold at the end of the rainbow they
wouldn't bother to go look because they think the pot is to small. roflmao.
