dim my bright ass power bulb? (6.3V AC)

Yeah, its a bayonet Fender style jewel lamp. CE Distribution lists several voltages and amperage draws. The one in his amp is a standard Fender 6.3V/.15A bulb. 7.5V or 14.4V might do the trick.

Of course, but going to the Shack was cheaper than shipping 10 bulbs from Antique Electronics. On my next order, or his which ever comes first I'll add some to the list and have him pull the resistors out. I just happened to have a bunch of 6.3V laying around from some fender builds and repairs I did.

7v*.5a=3.5Watts

6.3v*.15a=.945watts

That one you posted will prolly be brighter even @ 6.3V
