I was in studio recording one of my tracks when amp died.

I set it up, 10min into playing and I lose all sound…..

I was pissed its understatement…. I was looking forward to use this amp so much and it crapped out on me.

Maybe i cranked it too much?
Back to tech.

Sigh

Sorry to hear, but never fully trust a JCM2000.

I'd get something that proofed itself worthy over decades, something like a 2203.

Less headache.

I played 2203 on one of my gigs and it was delicious…..

That amp is next on my list but i do like 2000 too.

I gig with DSL 100HR and no problems so far…

Try all outputs... they broke off the ground on the 16 ohm when using the 4-8 ohm using the break funktion in the jacks. It's known to fail. If so it's a 5 minute jobb. But I guess you need to know about it for it to be just that..a 5 minut jobb

The 2000’s have something inherently wrong with the board causing it to be conductive, and causing all kinds of issues. You might be able to find one for sale and install it. Good luck!

Amp is fixed and its working now. Apparently it was HT blown fuse, not sure what caused it. Tech said there is number of reasons it could have happened and one of them fuse being old?

According to him he tested it cracked on dummy load and all seems fine.

We shall see.
