Epiphone Les Paul Classic Honeyburst - AWESOME TONES !

Hi Gentz !
A student of mine bought this Epiphone Les Paul Classic Honeyburst.....at first I thought like "hmmm, okay guitar for a starter"...
Once he got it and I saw the looks and especially when I plugged it into my Marshall Silver Jubilee......KICKASS Guitar for that money !!!

They fixed the headstock so now theyre in the running, before I wouldnt want one it was just ugly looking!

Only problem is its hard to get a new one. Sweetwater show 83 epis' but only 7 in stock. They have 63 Gibsons in stock. But their so overpriced is absurd,

nothing wrong with EPI. they have something for everybody, only cheaper in price.

He could use ANY guitar he wants, yet he chooses an $500 Epiphone!

That tells me everything I need to know!

Great guitars do NOT need to be expensive!

The newer LPs seem to get generally good reviews but SW seems to have been back ordered on the 50’s I’ve been stalking. Thanks for sharing - good to hear how their new line can sound.

Your rightt Scooter' I seen many great Guitarist use Epi's. The Beatles did pretty good with them.

EPIs are great guitars.
I have a few LP EPIs.
Nothing wrong with them at all.
I have one or two that pkay great, but are a pound or two lighter than a Gibson.

My shoulder does not complain about them.

They look good, play great, and not $2500 to get in the club.

Bought an EPI Flying V guitar 2 years back.

Beautiful natural finish. A really beautiful guitar that plays and sounds fat and cresmy. A GC speacial at $499

Previous owner went to a lot of trouble to find an historic Gibson "V" truss rod cover. At the same time adding that to the guitar, he/she, took a Sharpie marker an blacked out
the "Epiphone" inlay name at the top of the headstock.

I certainly don"t hold anything against the guitar for being made in China. It not the guitars fault..

Really bashing China. If it wasn't for our sick goverment most companies would not have left to go their or other places. Almost all guitars and amps are made over sea's' Korea ' Vietnam - Marshalls are made their 'speakers made in China' Indo China makes tons of Good guitars. Mexico ' Charvel' Fender. Get use to it.
