The 12AE7 is, I recognize that one. If I remember correctly its a lot lower gain than a standard 12AX7...

Not for use in any guitar amp. This is a car radio tube and uses 12VDC for the heaters.
Not to mention that the amplification factor is shit.

My old Ampeg uses a 6CG7 on the reverb/tremolo/vibrato board. I've probably got 20 of them.
