Up for sale is my beautiful 2011 special and Limited run 1955 reissue Les Paul with amazing flame top.
This guitar was a special order as only 10 where finished with lush bourbon color back
and sides, the rest of this limited 1955 run have light backs and sides.
The guitar's condition is used with normal sigs of used but not abuse (documented in the photos).
Comes with its original black Custom Shop case, original factory box, all the papers and black book COA.
Highlights of this guitar:
The unique features of this limited run are the off center seam and very accurate flametop, this guitar,
in Gibson's terms, is a recreation of 1955 Goldtop's modded by Gibson to make it closer to a 59 LP, this
was supposed to have been done by many players that owned 50's gold tops and wanted a 59 LP, so
once the GT finish was removed many had beautiful flame tops and where refinish and modded to burst standards.
The top has one of the most vintage accurate tops of an original early 50's gold tops that had beautiful
off center flamed tops under the gold paint, see included photo comparison next to a vintage stripped gold top.
The neck on this guitar and most of this limited run are unique, digitally clone from a real GT, so you
can expect a very comfortable neck with a soft "V" shape and very soft almost no shoulders, so this
neck in your hand's feel like no other, not thin, but not huge Fat feeling. The Rosewood fingerboard color is
beautiful and has that deep dark brown shade, this is ONE PIECE, not like the 2012 models that use 2 thin layers
of rosewood for the fingerboard.
And the sound is to die for, has rich harmonics and that vintage midrange we all like and the sustain is incredible.
This guitar features upgrades free of charge like New Inlay's, they have been changed to vintage correct
ones from the respected parts supplier, RETROSPEC. This substitutes the ugly plastic ones that come stock
with beautiful material correct ones that just make the guitar look the part. Long screws for the ABR-1
bridge that increased the sustain and resonance A.K.A "MapleFlame Mod", And Audio taper CTS Pots that
replaces the stock LINEAR pots.
The asking price is $ 3,450.00 + Shipping fees to your USA & Canada ONLY location.
The preferred method is paypal and you can use the gift option if you would like to spare the paypal fees, if not, they will
